Terms of service.

The agreement between you and AirInduct Sim. Plain language where it can be plain; precise language where the law requires.

01. · Account terms

By creating an account on AirInduct Sim, you agree to provide accurate, complete and current registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Notify us immediately at support@airinductsim.com if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or have been inactive for more than twelve months.

02. · Acceptable use

AirInduct Sim is designed for electromagnetic simulation, coil design and wireless power transfer research. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or extract source code from the simulation engine, solver algorithms or ML correction models.
  • Use automated scripts, bots or scrapers to access the platform or extract data at scale without prior written authorisation.
  • Interfere with the integrity or performance of the platform, including overloading the API with excessive requests.
  • Misrepresent simulation results as validated experimental data without clearly stating that the results are computationally derived.
  • Resell, sublicense or redistribute access to the platform without a valid partnership or institutional licence agreement.
  • Use the platform to develop a competing electromagnetic simulation product or service.
03. · Service level

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The platform is provided on an “as available” basis. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in-app or by email where possible. Computation times are not guaranteed; they depend on topology complexity, grid resolution and server load.

Simulation results are generated using validated physics models — Biot–Savart, Neumann, elliptic integrals — benchmarked against Babic & Akyel (2008), Grover (1946), Kurs et al. (2007) and Covic (2013). We do not warrant that simulation outputs will match physical measurements in all configurations. Treat results as computational estimates and verify independently for safety-critical applications.

04. · Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all intellectual property rights in your simulation inputs, parameters, configurations, results and exported files (PDF reports, KiCad footprints, DXF drawings, SPICE netlists). AirInduct Sim claims no ownership over your simulation data or derived outputs.

The AirInduct Sim platform — engine, UI, solver algorithms, ML models, documentation and trademarks — remains the exclusive property of AirInduct Sim and its licensors. These Terms grant you the limited right to use the service as described herein and nothing more.

Feedback you provide may be used, modified and incorporated into the platform under a perpetual royalty-free licence.

05. · Data & privacy

Your use of AirInduct Sim is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing documents. We implement industry standards including TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure; you remain responsible for backing up your simulation data.

06. · Subscription & payment

Certain features are available only through paid subscriptions — Researcher and Pro. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds. Pricing changes are announced at least 30 days in advance for existing subscribers.

07. · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AirInduct Sim and its officers, directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, research results or goodwill — arising from your use of the platform.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid to AirInduct Sim in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, regardless of the legal theory.

We are not liable for damages arising from reliance on simulation results for safety-critical applications, manufacturing decisions or regulatory submissions without independent experimental verification.

08. · Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

We may also modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the platform — features, topologies, export formats — with reasonable notice for significant changes.

09. · Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting legal@airinductsim.com. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal resolution. You waive any right to participate in a class action against AirInduct Sim.
