Account data, simulation parameters, results and usage analytics — what we collect, how we use it, and how you control it.
We collect information necessary to provide and improve AirInduct Sim:
Name, email address and optionally institutional affiliation. If you sign in through a third-party provider (Google, GitHub, Apple), we receive your profile name and email from that provider. We never store third-party passwords.
We store the inputs you provide for each simulation — coil geometry (side lengths, radii, turn count, wire gauge), spatial configuration (offset, separation, angular misalignment) and operating frequency — together with the computed outputs (M, L, k, Q, |H| field maps and optimiser results). This data powers history, comparison and export.
Anonymised usage data — which topologies are selected, which exports are used, simulation run frequency, feature engagement. Analytics are not associated with individual simulation results.
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers, CVVs or bank account details. We retain only the last four digits, card brand, expiration and billing address for record-keeping.
We use the information we collect for:
Your data lives on secure cloud infrastructure hosted in the United States.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Maintain local backups of critical simulation data.
A small set of vetted third parties power parts of the platform:
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information or simulation data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@airinductsim.com. We respond within 30 days.
Account data and simulation history are retained while your account remains active. If you delete your account, personal information and simulation data are removed from active systems within 30 days. Encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days before being purged.
Anonymised aggregate data (e.g. average computation times per topology) may be retained indefinitely — it cannot be used to identify individual users.
Payment and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial reporting regulations.
AirInduct Sim uses a minimal set of cookies:
No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no cross-site tracking.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
